Marshall and Lisa Morse.
Following the premiere, the new animated works, alongside paintings by the Painters Eleven, will be on display

Representing a high point in Canadian art history, the Painters Eleven was a group of abstract painters who banded
together in Toronto in the fifties, believing that a unified front would better serve them in their quest to exhibit
their work. Painters Eleven would become an influential group in Canadian art history whose influence is still
felt to this very day. Eleven in Motion is both a tribute to their contributions and a gathering point for eleven
Canadian animators to create works inspired by these pioneering artists.
